pumpkin time

i started pre-school with west a couple weeks ago. having so much fun with it! today we read the nursery rhyme, "peter peter pumpkin eater" and made pumpkin pancakes together. i am really excited about having this special time with him a few days a week.

back in the saddle

so, i won't lie. the transition back into to life here has been rough. missing family. missing friends.       missing blue skies...

but God has been SO good to me. meeting me here. beckoning me to trust HIM. to seek HIM. to cling to HIM.

and we are slowly starting to settle into a routine here. slowly starting to embrace the blessings that He has for me here (and when i choose to look for them, there really are many)... slowly starting to get "back in the saddle."

look who's growing

addy had her 2 month check-up yesterday and got her first dose of vaccines. weston was so sweet. he stood right next to her as they prepared to poke her and said; "it's okay sweetie... i'll hold your hand."

she weighed in at 14 pounds and is in the 99th% for her age. can you tell?

weston got into my closet today and found my uggs. he then said: "mom, i found your ugg-ly boots!"
